BUCO was engaged by Stead Construction to provide labour-only carpentry services for Mount College, delivering a long-term, full-scope presence on site from foundations through to final finishes.

Our teams have been embedded on site from the early stages of construction, supporting structural works, framing, and building envelope progression, before moving through internal linings, fit-out, and finishing stages. In addition to the main building works, BUCO has also completed associated external works, including footpaths and surrounding concrete works, contributing to the overall functionality and presentation of the project.

Working within a live school environment required a high level of planning, coordination, and adherence to health and safety protocols. BUCO worked closely with Stead Construction’s site management team to sequence works efficiently, maintain programme momentum, and ensure safety and quality standards were met at every stage of the build.

By maintaining consistent crews on site throughout the project, BUCO has provided reliability, continuity, and productivity across all phases of construction. This approach has allowed works to progress smoothly as the project evolved, adapting to programme changes and site conditions as required.

This project highlights BUCO’s capability to support large-scale commercial and education builds through labour-only delivery, offering experienced carpentry teams that integrate seamlessly with main contractors and deliver dependable results from start to finish.
