BUCO was engaged to assist with the construction of the new Oropi Water Reservoir — a key infrastructure project supporting Tauranga’s growing community. Our scope covered a wide range of structural works including carpentry, concrete boxing, steel tying, and setout.

Our team played a vital role in forming and installing the falsework and tie beams, constructing and assembling complex formwork systems, and preparing and framing up the reservoir pad with precision and care. Working alongside the main contractor, we provided the hands-on technical expertise needed to bring this challenging civil structure together safely, efficiently, and to spec.

From detailed formwork to high-tolerance concrete finishes, BUCO delivered workmanship that met the exacting standards of a major water infrastructure build — showcasing our ability to adapt our carpentry and construction skills to large-scale civil projects with the same quality and professionalism we bring to all our work.
