BUCO has been engaged to revitalise and future-proof the existing commercial building at 104 Cameron Road, transforming it into a modern, compliant, and functional office space while retaining the bones of the original structure.

Our scope began with a full internal demolition, followed by significant seismic strengthening works to bring the building up to current standards. From there, the project moved into major structural upgrades including new and upgraded roof trusses, roof replacement, and external façade improvements. A new canopy was also constructed, giving the building a refreshed street presence along one of Tauranga’s busiest corridors.

Internally, the project was completed with a full office fit-out, delivering a clean, modern workspace designed for long-term commercial use. The end result is a fully rejuvenated building that blends structural integrity with contemporary design — breathing new life into an older asset and contributing to the ongoing revitalisation of Cameron Road.

This project highlights BUCO’s capability to manage complex commercial refurbishments end-to-end, from demolition and seismic upgrades through to high-quality finishes, all while working within an active urban environment.
