BUCO is currently undertaking an extensive fire restoration of a unique beachfront home, working closely with the owners and their insurer to carefully rebuild and restore the property.

Before construction began, our team spent more than a year collaborating with all parties to investigate the damage, establish the full scope of works, and ensure every detail aligned with the owners’ expectations and the insurance requirements. This detailed planning process has created a clear pathway for delivering the right outcome for both the home and its owners.

The project involves repairing the fire-damaged areas, coordinating specialist trades, and restoring the home to a high standard—all within a spectacular coastal setting overlooking the beach. The location offers incredible views, but also requires careful planning around site access, coastal conditions, material protection, and construction logistics.

More than simply repairing a building, this project is about helping the owners restore their home after a difficult event. It demonstrates BUCO’s ability to manage complex insurance reinstatement work with patience, transparency, and close attention to detail—from the initial assessment and scoping process through to construction and final handover.
