Project Overview:
BUCO was proud to support Apollo Projects as a key carpentry subcontractor on the new Haumaru Sports & Recreation Centre — a major community development for Tauranga City Council and Waikato University.

Over a 10-month construction window, our team delivered a wide range of carpentry works under tight deadlines, including framing, internal fit-off, acoustic detailing, and finishing elements across the facility. At one point, we had a crew of 18 on site pushing hard to meet critical milestones for CPU and final completion.

This was a true team effort, and we're stoked to have played our part in bringing such a meaningful community space to life. Big thanks to Apollo and all the contractors involved — it was a high-pressure build, but the results speak for themselves.
